Conventions & store closing times

Wellington Armageddon is this weekend! It's back to 3 days, starting on Friday. Then I'll be in Auckland next weekend for Overload!

My store will be closed during the events obviously, but maybe open for a few days in between, and the week afterwards. (I tend to get home from a con and count/update things immediately to get things over with lol).

My store will then be closed between May 6-20.

If you want to know about when my store is open/closed over the next month, probably the best place to keep an eye on is my insta stories!

New Art

I did this art of Noon from They Bloom At Night! a great YA horror I read for the trans rights readathon. I did this super fast after reading the book, very inspired by the cover art!

Drew 06 & 22 from Archivist Wasp / Firebreak once again.... just a little simple thing! with a bit of tragedy! I also started a big thread on bsky of all my AW/F fanart over the last 5 years.....

I actually drew this last year, but it's just been revealed - I was commissioned by Linsey Miller to draw The Professor from That Devil Ambition, for postcards in the preorder campaign!​

The pose is based off June Graduate by J.C. Leyendecker. There's another related piece of art that I've done for the book too, which I assume you'll see eventually

Another old bookshelf design! I wasn't planning on finishing this so soon but there was another sticker sale so I whipped it out in a couple days.... more ocean themed art! (I think that's all the ocean themed art I had in the works, there's been a bunch of it over the last year).

It's also the last of the initial bookshelf designs I had - I made sketches of 8 of them when I did the first one 2 years ago and it's just taken me a while to get through finishing them. I have a few more ideas, they're just not planned...

Online Store

So obviously I'm about to close my store for the con this weekend, but you have a couple days before then!

I have prints & stickers of these two latest bookshelf art. Unfortunately the ocean stickers came without the metallic effect haha....I'm getting them replaced, they should be here just in time for the con. For now the non-metallic versions are a little discounted!

Cosplay

I have a bit more cosplay photofest stuff to share! Also I made a cosplay feed on bsky, to collect all my cos posts on there.

I did this fantastic Red shoot at massey memorial with Keane - you can find all photos on insta & tumblr​

I haven't posted these anywhere yet but we just got the results of the Sabriel + Lirael shoot we did! Sabriel is milloflizardscreations - I'm so happy we got to do this one!

Also - I finally got around to making a couple big posts on my process for my Blue & Red cosplays, if that's something anyone finds interesting! There's 3 posts in my cosplay process tag on tumblr.
