Recent Updates!

Hello! Time is going fast here's another newsletter.....

I did say last email that I had no events for the rest of the year, but the following day signups for the Newtown Xmas market went up. So if any of you are in Wellington you should come to that! This Saturday 6 Dec, in the school hall by the vege market.

I've been making the most of the sunny weather and making paper again! I'll have this at the market, pay what you want. I'm not planning on putting it on my store at the moment (lots of work) but if you're interested in some you can contact me about it..

I've been doing more bookmark + book posting except this time it's 1 book and 5-6 bookmarks that match it. These are on ig/tiktok and also tumblr (well, a bit behind on the tumblr posting, but...)

New Art

The Isle In The Silver Sea sketches! I put a few miscellaneous design notes in the readmores on the tumblr posts.

I've vaguely wanted to make some licheny washi tape designs for like, over a year probably, for whatever reason the inspiration clicked and I worked on these. I love moss! I love lichen!

I also made a cave design.......

Planning on ordering these soon, so I'll have them for march conventions.

There's this art trend going around on tiktok of favourite characters and I felt a sudden desire to join in. You can find the video version on tiktok, tumblr, bsky, or insta, but here's all the art:

I tried to not spend too much time polishing it, and mostly chose characters I'm already familiar with drawing! good to have a bit of a rest between work that i need to think harder about.

Otherwise I'm working on a few cover designs at the moment and also just...... not drawing much after the last few months of So Much. haha. i need to sleep for 20 years

And I have restocked the flying Kārearea stickers! So I can have these as packs again at my table, and you can get them on my store. Some of the profits go to the Kārearea trust in Blenheim :)
